Tummy tuck guide in Gangnam, Seoul: when loose skin is the issue, not fat.
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) removes excess abdominal skin and can tighten separated muscles. It is a different operation from liposuction. This guide helps you decide which one your belly actually needs.

What happens in a tummy tuck
Abdominoplasty reshapes skin and muscle, not just fat.
In a full tummy tuck, the surgeon makes a long incision across the lower abdomen, removes excess skin, often repositions the navel, and may stitch together separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti). Liposuction is sometimes added to refine the sides.
Recovery is longer than liposuction, and the scar, while usually placed low, is permanent.

See the fat come out, while you are awake
LAMS (Local Anesthetic Minimal-invasive Liposuction) was developed by 365mc for people who want liposuction’s direct removal of fat cells without an incision or sleep anesthesia.
Fat is drawn directly into a syringe. According to 365mc, extracting one bottle takes about ten minutes, and because you are awake you can see the fat that was removed and talk with your doctor during the procedure.
- No incision, so no stitches to remove
- No sleep anesthesia — local anesthesia only
- No compression garment
- Customised Orange Care after LAMS
A surgical dream team behind every case
365mc’s Seoul hospital performs only liposuction and LAMS, so every team on the floor is organised around one kind of procedure. Each has a single job, and they work as one system from screening to recovery.

Surgical operations team
A dedicated team runs the operating schedule and supports area-specialized surgeons, who focus on specific body zones.
Anesthesia team
Staff experienced in liposuction anesthesia are on site. For high-risk patients, or when the medical team judges it necessary, an anesthesiologist administers anesthesia directly and monitors you throughout.
Safety management team
Before surgery a safety officer checks the surgeon’s blood pressure, pulse, temperature and overall condition.
Infection control team
Sterile operating-room protocols with a dedicated team for infection prevention.
Clinical pathology lab
Pre-operative tests are analysed in-house so results feed straight into your plan.
Recovery support team
Monitors you after surgery and runs the Orange Care program that follows.

Still unsure? Our English-speaking coordinators reply on WhatsApp, usually within 24 hours (excluding weekends and Korean holidays).
Does 365mc offer tummy tucks? +
No. Tummy tuck surgery is not part of 365mc’s published procedure list. If you need skin removal, ask a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Can liposuction replace a tummy tuck? +
Only when the main issue is fat and skin tone is good. Liposuction does not remove hanging skin or repair muscles.
What is a mini tummy tuck? +
A shorter-incision version that treats skin below the navel only. See the mini tummy tuck guide.
Can I combine liposuction and skin tightening instead? +
For mild laxity, 365mc offers RF Body Skin Tightening, which can be done during liposuction. Your doctor will tell you whether it is likely to be enough.
