Vaser liposuction in Gangnam, Seoul: what ultrasound adds, and what to compare.

Vaser is a brand of ultrasound-assisted liposuction. Ultrasound energy loosens fat before it is suctioned. If you are researching Vaser for a trip to Seoul, this guide explains how it works and how it compares with the methods 365mc offers.

The basics

How ultrasound-assisted liposuction works

Vaser stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance.

After tumescent fluid is infused, a thin ultrasound probe emits energy that breaks up and emulsifies fat cells. The loosened fat is then removed with a suction cannula. Proponents say ultrasound helps in fibrous areas, such as the back or the male chest, and in revision cases.

Because ultrasound generates heat, surgeons protect the skin with fluid and skin ports and keep the probe moving. Reported risks include burns, seromas and contour irregularities, so operator experience matters as much as the device.

This page explains a technique for general information. 365mc’s official procedure list does not name it; ask your coordinator which 365mc method fits your goal.

When a previous result needs correcting

365mc runs a dedicated liposuction revision center for patients unhappy with liposuction done elsewhere, with its own separate space and surgeons focused on revision cases.

Honesty
Principle 1

Honesty

Revision changes are often less dramatic than a first surgery. Surgeons explain clearly what can improve and what has limited room for change.

Principles
Principle 2

Principles

Many poor results come from basic principles not being followed. Revision is planned with careful line correction and the anesthesia team.

Responsibility
Principle 3

Responsibility

Unexpected variables are more common in revision. Experience in handling them protects both safety and the result.

365mc’s revision surgeons include members of its Master’s Club, a title the group gives surgeons with more than 13,000 to 20,000 liposuction cases each. 365mc has also published a Korean-language book on liposuction revision.

FAQ

Common questions

Still unsure? Our English-speaking coordinators reply on WhatsApp, usually within 24 hours (excluding weekends and Korean holidays).

Does 365mc offer Vaser liposuction? +

Vaser is not named in 365mc’s official procedure list. 365mc offers surgical liposuction, Royal Lipo, LAMS and Infinite LAMS; your surgeon recommends the method after assessment.

Is Vaser better for abs definition? +

Ultrasound is often marketed for definition work, but results depend on anatomy, skin and the surgeon’s technique. Discuss realistic goals for abdominal liposuction during consultation.

Is Vaser less painful? +

Comfort depends mostly on anesthesia and the extent of treatment, not only the device.

Can Vaser tighten skin? +

Some clinics claim modest tightening. For noticeable laxity, 365mc offers Body Skin Tightening with RF energy, and significant excess skin may need surgery; see liposuction vs tummy tuck.
